| I doubt it. I had an 88 break it's timing belt and they only had to rebuild the head and reground/replace the valves. It has 278K miles on it now. I've never read anything about kevlar belts, I've just always used the standard oem ones which are good for about 80-90K miles. Ok, so i just bought a 92 honda prelude si from one of my friends. and while he had it the timing belt broke. i found out that the valves were bent, i was just wondering if i rebuilt my head could there be anything else wrong with the engine? And if a kevlar timing belt would be better that the stock one?and what the diffranse is? Thank you! Roy Borchard |
